Amchil Construction Limited is an innovative Oxfordshire-based family owned construction business. We specialise in civil engineering-oriented works of site preparation and all aspects of groundworks. We also specialise in total buildings’ soft strip projects of all sizes, types, and locations.
Amchil Construction Limited is led by a management team endowed with great competence and a rich experience in construction design and project management gained across a diverse range of schemes. Our experience ensures that we deliver site preparation, groundworks and civils, and building soft strip projects efficiently and collaboratively. It also enables us to offer greater value for money with projects delivered on time, to the agreed cost while meeting the specified quality requirements.

Our previous project management experience has also endowed us with a well-developed and extensive network of highly capable specialist architectural, planning, engineering, surveying, and environmental design consultants with whom we collaborate to ensure successful delivery of our projects. Health and Safety
At Amchil Construction health and safety is not just a set of words, it is an attitude. We get every member of our team involved in the safety practices, from top management to site team members. Encouraging employees to take responsibility is the key to a successful health and safety culture. We believe that safety on projects commences at and should be incorporated at this early stage. As such, prior to commencing any work on site, as standard practice we undertake a safety review of the design and satisfy ourselves and the main contractor/ designers that the all aspects of the project can be carried out safely.
Our policy is given to all employees and sub-contractors. We also require sub-contractors to have their own health and safety policies and to submit bespoke risk assessments and method statements for our approval before starting work on site.
Environmental sustainability/ Green construction
Amchil Construction Limited is a passionate about sustainability and always aims to reduce waste going to landfill and the carbon footprint in our projects by sorting at source and reusing materials where practically possible. Suitable construction spoil is crushed and reused as aggregates. We are conscious of the choice of materials used and their impact on the environment and support the cause for a circular economy.
